I was on Weather.com, checking on the status of Hurricane Dean, when I saw this ad for online degrees. Right at the top are bounty hunter followed by special weapons and tactics. You know I've always wanted to be a bounty hunter, but the only thing holding me back was that piece of paper. I didn't have enough money to go to bounty hunting college. I mean, if only I had a nickel for every posting on Monster.com that read: Bounty Hunter. Qualified candidate must have 2-3 years experience and a Bachelor's in bounty hunting. Master's degree preferred. Looking for a self-starter who is able to meet deadlines. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail a must. Basic interpersonal skills are a plus, but not required. Excellent health benefits. 401k.

If I could get both my bounty hunter and my SWAT degrees, I'm sure doors would start opening for me. I wonder how many term papers I would need to write?

My boyfriend and I went to see Ultraviolet this weekend. I guess we were kind of hoping it would be another Fifth Element ("Pllleaaase heeelp"). Nope.
I stopped trying to understand the movie when Milla Jovovich pulled a boy of about
10 years old (Cameron Bright) out of a slim briefcase. I think my boyfriend stopped
trying even earlier when the ninja security robots (?) she was fighting
appeared to be made of glass (if so, that was a poor design choice). By
the time that we learn she has some kind of blood disease that gives
her vampire teeth and insane fighting skills, both of us had pretty
much checked out. Oh, yeah, and somehow she saves the briefcase boy
with her tears. Or something?

Gee, I hope I'm not ruining this for anyone...

My cab driver tonight smelled like baby food. I spent most of the ride home trying to identify it. I'm pretty sure it was baby cereal with a jar of bananas mixed in.

Um, I think it might rain a lot on Saturday? I've never seen them draw that many raindrops on the forecast icons. I'm honestly scared.
